The Tilgin VoIP solution is a mature and feature rich solution offering high quality voice services in the Tilgin home Gateways.
The Tilgin VoIP solution is based on the SIP framework of rfc standards, also fully supporting the IMS defined version of SIP. The solution is well proven and fully interoperable with all major Softswitch vendors on the market.
The solution has a rich set of voice services, adapted to the specific requirements in each country and environment. The voice services can either execute locally in the Tilgin gateway or centrally in the Softswitch. This is configurable on a service per service basis. Up to 12 VoIP accounts can be defined and in a flexible way be mapped to serve the phone interfaces of the Tilgin gateways.
The VoIP solution is fully manageable from a TR-069 capable ACS such as the Tilgin VCM.
Regardless of whether the voice services are run over the FXS interface, the ISDN interface or the new generation DECT interface, the Tilgin QoS mechanisms in software and gateway hardware guarantees excellent voice quality. This is true independently of other network traffic or tasks run through the gateway.
